Central Namibia

Central Namibia

Beginning in Namibia’s northern heartland and extending out into the thinly populated arid country of the San people, Otjozondjupa is a fascinating region. Waterberg Plateau Park hosts one of the country’s most beautiful landforms with plenty of hiking and wildlife-watching to bring the stirring landscape to life. Okonjima and Erindi are brilliant and emerging wildlife destinations, while Grootfontein and Tsumeb are appealing towns for a taste of urban Namibian life. And if you head out into the east, close to the border with Botswana, you begin to traverse the intriguing land of the San, Namibia’s longest-standing inhabitants.
